Yes, ULD® BP-100 is effective both indoors and outdoors for a variety of pests. Outdoor applications may be used to control flying insects such as flies, ectoparasites such as ticks, and crawling insects such as ants and spiders.
The primary active ingredient in ULD® BP-100 is pyrethrins, a botanical insecticide derived from the chrysanthemum flower. Pyrethrins provide a quick kill of a broad spectrum of insects and are non-persistent in the environment. The concentration of pyrethrin esters change depending on the growing conditions. Consequently, insects do not develop resistance to pyrethrin-based insecticides as quickly as they may to synthetic pyrethroid insecticides.
There are no time withholding periods for ULD® BP-100 and its use before processing.
